About this Event
Youth Winter Workshop Week is a program for students ages 13 -18 interested in metal arts and jewelry making. During this 1 week workshop, students will explore the basics of jewelry making including sawing, soldering, chain making, and more. We will work on a number of projects and samples allowing student to explore their creativity in metal.
We offer a 5 day workshop package or individual day sign ups.
Materials are included for all projects. Additional material may be available for purchase if needed.

Feb 19 - Tools and Techniques/Cuffs and Bangles
- Forging and texturing copper and brass cuffs & bangles.
Feb 20 - Pendents
- Sawing and soldering pendents
Feb 21 & 22 - Chains and Charms (2 Days only)
- Building links, assembling, and soldering
- Sawing and stamping charms, completing chain
Feb 23 - Rings
- Silver Ring and copper and brass stacker rings
