Jewelry and Metalsmithing - Youth Workshop Week

Youth Winter Workshop Week is a program for students ages 13 -18 interested in metal arts and jewelry making. During this 1 week workshop, students will explore the basics of jewelry making including sawing, soldering, chain making, and more. We will work on several projects and samples allowing students to explore their creativity in metal.

*We offer a 5-day workshop package or individual day sign-ups.

Materials are included for all projects. Additional material may be available for purchase if needed.

Feb 17 - Tools and Techniques/Cuffs and Bangles

• Forging and texturing copper and brass cuffs & bangles.

Feb 18 - Pendants

• Sawing and soldering pendants

Feb 19 & 20 - Chains and Charms (2 Days only)

• Building links, assembling, and soldering

• Sawing and stamping charms, completing a chain

Feb 21 - Rings

• Silver Ring and copper and brass stacker rings
