About this Event
Bring new life to your old or broken jewellery in this creative, hands-on evening workshop at Repair & Share Foyle HQ. ✨
Led by Laura, a Strabane-based maker with a degree in Silversmithing and Jewellery from Ulster University, you’ll learn simple techniques to repair, restyle, and upcycle your favourite pieces instead of letting them go to waste.
With guidance from Laura — now an engraver and permanent jewellery welder — you’ll explore creative ways to reuse materials, craft unique new designs, and pick up handy repair skills to keep your jewellery shining for years to come.
No experience necessary — just bring a few pieces you’d like to work on! We’ll have tools and extra costume jewellery and materials ready.
Artitude: Climate, Culture & Circularity harnesses the power of arts and creativity to connect communities and inspire behavioural change on issues of waste, consumption and climate action. Funded by the National Lottery UK Climate Action Fund, it is a partnership between The Playhouse, Northern Ireland Resources Network, Repair & Share Foyle, Derry City and Strabane District Council and Queen's University Belfast.
