A taster into the techniques and fundamentals of Silver Smith processes. This 3 hour workshop focuses on the use of silver to create a silver band ring. You will learn how to fabricate, solder, texture and construct a silver band ring transforming a metal wire into a perfectly shaped ring into your own individual design and size.The course is particularly suited to those who want an introduction into different jewellery techniques. There will be simple and more complex style tasks to develop your skills.
You will receive instruction and support from Artist Leon Varga in a friendly and creative atmosphere. Techniques are taught through practical demonstrations with the emphasis on encouraging students to have a go.
Silver to make a band is included in the price as are hot drinks and biscuits!
