About this Event
The JET Alumni Association of Washington, DC (JETAADC) presents a kimono lecture and fashion show at the Japan Information & Culture Center with expert guest Tokiya Japan’s Tomomi Miyajima.
Join us for a chance to be fitted in traditional handcrafted Japanese kimono or bring your own kimono (BYOK) and we'll help you model it!
By purchasing a ticket, participants will be entered into a random lottery for the opportunity to be fitted in one of five kimono, in addition to the lecture on traditional Japanese clothing.
