The Lone Star Flight Museum (LSFM) is hosting its annual Jet Setters Ball on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024. Gala co-chairs Diane and Steve Biegel, Cheryl Boblitt King and Bill King, and Penny and Dennis Murphree invite museum supporters to an incredible evening that will honor museum friend and instrumental leader Scott Rozzell with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
Anna Hawley, LSFM’s president and chief executive officer, and Pete Olson, former U.S. Congressman and LSFM board chair, along with the event co-chairs and gala host committee will welcome sponsors, museum patrons, elected officials and dignitaries for an elegant gala with a Roman flair. Longtime friend of Rozzell and former KPRC Channel 2 Meteorologist and Houston Newsmakers host Khambrel Marshall will emcee the evening.
This year’s honoree, Scott Rozzell has dedicated more than 20 years of support to the museum. The evening will not only highlight his leadership and love of aviation but will be themed upon one of his favorite destinations, Rome, Italy.
The black-tie gala will be one to remember as attendees experience the rich flavors, sights and sounds of Rome, Italy. The program includes a gala reception with themed cocktails, big board and live auction featuring Italian destinations, rich Italian dinner stations, decadent dessert experiences, lively music, and an evening that will showcase amazing aircraft, exhibits, and flight simulators. Funds raised at this year’s gala will support the museum’s aircraft collection and exhibits, the preservation of Texas aviation history, and STEM education programs that serve thousands of Houston-area students each year.
