Yet he also knew that there is a world beyond this one that we can look forward to where there is no suffering or pain. As our Healer, Jesus restores the broken places in our souls, the traumas, and the deep wounds we’ve experienced. By his stripes we are healed, says the Bible. As our Friend, Jesus promises to never leave us or forsake us. In Him, we have his guarantee that we’re never alone during the happy times and during the difficult trials that life may bring.
