About this Event
Synergy is a family of churches committed to making all things new through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Too often, though churches can lapse into thinking of themselves as mediating God to the world, whilst keeping them in separate spaces. Instead we need a revelation of Jesus' lordship over all things that unites our lives under the one God and sanctifies the everyday.
To help us unpack this we've invited church historian Sarah Williams to explore the impact of Jesus' lordship for the early church, preceding generations and today.
We're also going to be joined by Erin Good, Pastor of Discipleship at Purdue Christian Campus House as she helps us understand our individual stories in the light of Jesus is Lord.
Over the course of the weekend there also be opportunities to hear from our other main stage, workshop and conference team including Aled Griffith, Lea Shrumpf, Emmanuel Chiweshe, Rachel Heffer, Simon Shaw and Ben Rook.
Increasing Accessibility
This year there are a number of changes to increase the accessibility of the conference for all types of delegates,
Day Rates: If you are only able to be with us on the Saturday then there is now a day pss available for you. We have also changed the structure on Saturday to make the most of our time together, including an on-site dinner option.
Under 25s: There is a 50% discount available for younger delegates on either the weekend or the day pass tickets. Enter U25 at the checkout to apply this.
Parents: See below for a full breakdown of the kids programme for primary aged children .
Flexible meals: If you would like to book a buffet lunch slot and/or a hot dinner from one of our concession vans then you can do so, but you are also free to bring a packed lunch or to use one of the outlets on Pride Park.
Parents and Children are welcome
We understand that attending a conference as a parent of young children can be challenging. We’re committed to making this experience easier so that all who want to attend can do so.
- Paul & Vanessa Willmott will be returning to deliver an excellent kids programme across Saturday daytime
- Saturday lunch for kids will be a 'build-your-own sandwich' so that you can make sure they get something they will enjoy!
- In the evenings we will stream the meeting so that any parents who are unable to attend in person can still engage.
- On Sunday morning, Hollie Astle and the wonderful Reach Kids teams will be welcoming visitors into the regular Reach Derby kids work.
