For their final show of the year - Jessie Monk and band and invite ye to gather for a solstice celebration - in honour of the great cycle that has been 'the year'. This cycle has seen the release of Jessie's sophomore album, Mis O' The Mountains, which has been nominated for AFMA's Contemporary Folk Album of the Year.
After a great tour of the northern lands of Europe and the UK, both headlining, and supporting Scottish Folk artist, Rachel Sermanni, Jessie returns, abundant with trinkets and shells from her travels and hopes to, with you (the audience), gather and drench them in dreaming, arrange them all in some sort of spiralic pattern, and offer them in exaltation to the almost empty moon.
Joined by her beloved bandmates: Arlon Faria (keys + backing vocals), Aidan Ryan (electric guitar + backing vocals) and Claire Abougelis (double bass + backing vocals) the bill will include, not only songs from Mis O' The Mountains, not only NEW Jessie Monk tunes, not ONLY some tunes of Arlon and Aidan's but ALSO some tunes from some special guests (see who below) - it will be a wee festival. Due to limited capacity, there will be TWO shows - one earlier for the sun+dogs and one later for the moon+cats - so make sure you check which starting time you book for.
Merch will be available to purchase as well as another interactive object, free with your ticket (you will have to buy a ticket to find out what).
We can't wait to gather, sing with you, wail with you, and praise the turning of the wheel of time!
