Jesse Roads is a singer and songwriter based in Red Deer, originally from the city of Lethbridge. He has a life-long passion for creating haunting melodies and honest lyrics, connecting with the audience through songs that are catchy yet meaningful.
Jesse’s music channels the thought-provoking and poetic style pioneered by legendary artists such as Bob Dylan and Elliott Smith. However, there is also a visceral, instinct-driven side to his songwriting, reminiscent of trailblazers such as Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, The Gaslight Anthem and Bruce Springsteen among others.
As a musician with such an incredibly diverse background, Jesse can ignite the spark of his creativity, never getting stuck into the usual boxes and categories when it comes to making music.
