Our headliner on the 29th June 2024 at The Wyldes is Grammy award-winning pop icon Jess Glynne!
We are super excited to announce that in her long-awaited return to live music, Jess Glynne has chosen The Wyldes for the Southwest leg of her freshly announced tour. Her eagerly-awaited return to the music scene is set to bring us even more dance-pop bangers, after her chart-topping success with two previous Platinum selling albums.
Jess Glynne has just released her latest single 'Friend of Mine' last week, and has teased a new album in the making, with a new vulnerable songwriting style to accompany the energetic pop sound we all know and love. Give the new track a listen on our playlist (where we've also curated all her very best bangers just for you).
In preparation for the upcoming album’s release, Jess says ‘It’s a pop record – I’m a pop girl. But there’s a lot of variety. The sound of the record is raw, honest, and vulnerable’.
Jess Glynne became the first British female solo artist to achieve seven number ones on the UK singles chart, including ‘I’ll Be There’, ‘Hold My Hand’ and ‘Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself’. She has earned a whopping nine Brit Award nominations, three Ivor Novello nominations and has won a Grammy Award for her music.
On the announcement of the 2024 tour, Jess said: "Can't wait to get back on stage and go live for all my people! It's gonna be a good year... Let's go."
This is set to be THE night of the summer, we'll meet you by the stage, yeah?
If you've never been to an event at The Wyldes before, it's a little different to your standard gig. It's a whole day and night of music from carefully selected support acts, a headline show from your favourite act, an epic afterparty, plus delicious street food, a great array of local drink, camping and glamping options and all the good times with your favourite humans. It's all the best bits of a festival, rolled into one day.
