Fresh off dates with Steve Earle and summer festivals, Jerry Leger has stayed busy since the October 2023 release of his latest album Donlands. The Mark Howard (Lucinda Williams, Bob
Dylan, Tom Waits) produced record came out on Cowboy Junkies label, and was greeted with rave reviews from UK's Uncut Magazine and Rolling Stone Europe. Leger toured those parts of
the world in support of Donlands as well as select Canadian dates, which included his debut on the historic Massey Hall stage in Toronto and a headlining show in its new room, TD Music Hall.
One of the country's most respected singer-songwriters, Ron Sexsmith says “Leger has thatspark in him that all the great songwriters have. He's the real deal.” For Jerry, the search for the
elusive creative spark remains never-ending, but there are always new routes to explore in getting to it. Leger is excited to bring his band to Hugh's Room Live, with special guest Lori
Yates on November 7th.

Lori Yates is a renowned voice, a respected singer/songwriter in roots music, and a pioneer of “alternative country music” in Canada. The Band's Rick Danko once described Yates as having "that desperate Canadian sound," sealing her legendary status.
Yates returns with “Matador,” her eighth album, released in January 2024. It’s a masterful collection of roots/indie songs; each one unfurls like a precious jewel. From the first notes, it is obvious that Lori’s voice has matured into a powerful, beautiful, alluring instrument.
