Portland’s Jerry Joseph is a prolific and fearless artist whose songwriting, commanding voice, and electrifying performances have made him a respected figure in the global music scene.
Over a four-decade career, Jerry has toured the world as a solo artist and with renowned bands like The Jackmormons, supergroup Stockholm Syndrome, and cult-favorite Little Women. With OIL, Jerry strives to create an unparalleled space for raw, intimate performances, in-depth conversations, and collaborations with special guests. In 2023, Jerry released Baby, You’re The Man Who Would Be King, an album recorded in New York City and produced by Eric “Roscoe” Ambel. It fulfilled Jerry’s dream of creating a quintessential New York record and was praised for its dynamic songwriting and evocative energy. The following year, Jerry & The Jackmormons celebrated the remastered reissue of their iconic live album Mouthful of Copper with a tour that reignited the electrifying spirit of the original performances.
Jerry’s first-ever UK Residency Tour in 2024, a series of intimate and sold-out shows, further solidified his reputation as an international force in live music. The year culminated in a triumphant five-night New Year’s Eve run in Portland, featuring an impressive lineup of collaborators and reaffirming Jerry’s ability to create unforgettable musical experiences.
