Master saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi gained worldwide recognition while performing with, Two Generations of Brubeck bands. He is a performer, composer, author and educator, renowned for his innovation, mastery, and integrity. In an endless series of rave reviews he is credited for his relentless drive, inner fire, total command, awesome technique, elastic lyricism, rich resonance and as a musical visionary. His music has been applauded throughout the world at all the major festivals, concert halls and venues. Among the many other artists that Bergonzi has performed and recorded with are; Bill Evans, Paul Desmond, Dave Holland, Gerry Mulligan, Jack DeJonette, John Abercrombie, Roy Haynes, Pat Martino and many more.
Michael Buckley is regarded as one of the most important and influential musicians on the Irish jazz scene. He is a composer, producer and performing artist, playing saxophone and flute on professional engagements since the age of six, when critics hailed him as a child prodigy. At the age of 10, he played flute with the legendary saxophonist George Coleman in the Irish National Concert Hall.
He has collaborated with artists as diverse as The Mingus Big Band, Jason Moran, Kurt Rosenwinkle, Glen Hansard, The World Jazz Orchestra, The Edinburgh Jazz Festival Orchestra (led by Tim Hagans), Dave Liebman, John Abercrombie, Joey Baron, Jason Rebello, Nils Wolgram and Tom Rainey. He is quickly gaining recognition as important producer, working internationally on countless albums, across all genres from jazz, folk, ethnic to hip hop. He has recently collaborated on recordings with Donovan, the Cranberrys, The Corrs, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Mattis. As well as frequent radio spots, Michael has made numerous television appearances and regularly works on film scores.
Bassist Mark Hodgson is an international touring Jazz artist, performing regularly around the world in a range of settings from trios to orchestras. He has performed and recorded with the cream of UK and international Jazz artists including: Cedar Walton, Pharaoh Sanders, Phil Woods, Charles McPherson, Dick Oatts, Peter Bernstein, Steve Grossman, Dave Liebman, Bill Charlap, Steve Wilson Jerry Bergonzi, Bruce Barth, Michel Legrand and many more. Mark has recorded and performed with numerous international Rock and Pop stars including: The Rolling Stones, The Police, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Pink Floyd, Bryan Adams and American rapper Ice-T.
Drummer Stephen Keogh, during the last 45 years, appeared around the globe with an extraordinary list of musicians that contains many of the great names in jazz including: Johnny Griffin, Lee Konitz, Harrold Land, Brad Mehldau, Mark Turner, Bill Charlap, Jerry Bergonzi, Deborah Brown, Herb Ellis, Benny Golson, Louis Stewart, Steve Grossman, Rene Marie, Dick Oatts, Benny Carter and many more. From 2022 he has played on concerts and/or recordings with Bruce Barth Trio, Charles McPherson Quintet and Quartet, Jerry Bergonzi Quartet, Eddie Henderson Quartet, Jocelyn Gould, Rick Margitza, Terrel Stafford, Steve Davis, Mark Gross, Jim Ridl, Danny Grisset, Perico Sambeat and Carla Cook.
