Deeply rooted in this thing called life, Jerm Theory brings an infectious blend of blues, funk, and psychedelic rock to the Quad Cities. Formed in 2023, the band features Geneseo Illinois natives and longtime best friends Cameron Hodgson on guitar and vocals, Logan “Frog” Farber on keys, Rob Orendorff on bass, and Jeremy Mills on drums, with a newcomer from the Chicagoland area Hal Stadtwald on guitar.
Known for their exciting live performances and extended jams, Jerm Theory has had tremendous success, opening a sold-out show for the Pat Travers band, winning a set at Summer Camp music festival, and performing at the Mississippi Valley Fair. In June 2024, the band recorded seven tracks in one weekend at Flat Black Studios in Lone Tree Iowa, and released the tracks as their debut self-titled album on November 2nd, 2024. Jerm Theory’s energy and love for music is incomparable, and the band looks forward to continuing their viral spread.
