About this Event
During this in-person workshop, Lyndi Rivers C-IAYT (she/her) will review basic anatomy of the pelvis, three layers of the pelvic floor musculature and its key functions. She will discuss how the breath contributes to the health of the pelvic floor and common muscular challenges.
This workshop is designed for any person who desires to know more about this essential part of their body. Whether you have experienced leaking when laughing or sneezing; frequent urination; pregnancy; childbirth; fibroids; pelvic pain; surgical intervention; menopause; prolapse; low back, hip, or groin challenges, prostrate pain, or discomfort during sex, this workshop will provide a support environment to create a mindful and more pleasurable relationship with your pelvis.
Lyndi Rivers LMSW, C-IAYT has been pelvic obsessed for over a decade. Her obsession was born from her desire to heal herself after decades of pelvic pain and body disconnection. Lyndi is the creator of Peaceful Pelvis, a therapeutic yoga class that supports stretching, softening, and strengthening the pelvic floor through breath, mediation, fascia release, and movement. She also offered private individual Yoga Therapy sessions on Pelvic Wellness.
