We’re excited about this one and so should you be! Jekyll: In support of their recent EP ‘Plasticine’ Jekyll kick off 2025 with a hometown special. Born and bred in Blackpool, and taking inspiration from a wide and eclectic pool of influences, Jekyll’s music is known for its expansive, melancholic soundscapes, dynamic mood shifts and visceral intensity. With appearances at SXSW, Y Not, The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City, Tramlines Festival, Threshold Festival and multiple sold-out shows, Jekyll’s momentum is fierce and their immediate future is looking very bright.
Black Bordello: Since emerging out of the pandemic, Black Bordello have become one of the most promising burgeoning groups in the UK. Spearheaded by Sienna Bordello’s operatic vocals and vivid, fragmented lyricism, their metamorphic brand of alternative rock is enchanted with elements of vaudevillian chamber pop, post-punk, avant-garde gothic rock and progressive rock. Since releasing their self-titled debut album (which was described by Loud and Quiet as ‘an exercise in world-building’), the band have supported the Libertines, Goat Girl, Bad Nerves, Pretty Sick and Fat Dog. Their single “Nunhead” was recorded in Damon Albarn’s Studio 13 – which was remixed by David J Haskins, the bassist of legendary goth group Bauhaus.
