The City of Jeffersonville is celebrating Earth Day with a community festival in the NoCo Arts & Cultural District.Saturday, April 19

There will be music, food and drinks, activities for kids, information stations, used paint collection, planter exchange, free tree saplings and more.
ARTS & CRAFTS
Join Jeff Public Arts for a pop-up art space, where kids can unleash their creativity using repurposed materials. They can paint and craft their very own masterpiece. All supplies will be provided.
FREE TREES
Trees for Southern Indiana will be giving away a selection of native tree seedlings and shrubs.
PLANTER EXCHANGE
As spring planting and cleaning gets underway, bring your unwanted planters (empty and clean) to donate to the exchange. You can also peruse the collection and take new-to-you pots home.
PAINT COLLECTION
The Jeffersonville Municipal Separate Stormwater Sewer System (MS4) will host a Paint Recycling Event to promote pollution prevention and educate our community on the importance of proper paint disposal. The paint will be recycled through Clark County Recycling District.
• Collect any leftover or unused paint you wish to recycle. Ensure the paint is in its original container (must be labeled) with the lid tightly sealed.
• Free Collection: The first 250 gallons of paint collected will be accepted free of charge.
• Fee Schedule: After the initial 250 gallons, a fee of $2.00 per gallon will apply.
BICYCLE VALET
Bicyclists can check their rides in at at Maker 13, where they will be secured during the event.
INFORMATION STATIONS
Several city departments and local organizations will be providing educational materials and tutorials about recycling, clean water, hazardous materials and more.
FOOD, DRINKS & ENTERTAINMENT
Papu Chos food truck will have a variety of options, including their signature Rotis. And, Kona Ice will be serving flavored slushies.
The Depot bar by The Alcove will have a beer, wine and cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic beverages.
DJ Q will be playing your favorite popular music and classic hits.
