Launched in August of 2020, Tuesday Casual Collaborations at 185 King Street has become a cornerstone of the vibrant Brevard music community. Every week Travis Book assembles a unique group of musicians for a one-time-only show, drawing on his vast network of friends and growing repertoire of musical styles. From Bluegrass to Blues, Songwriter to Americana, Country to Funk, Travis and his ever-evolving cast of local and national (even international) musicians consistently hit the sweet spot between preparation and spontaneity. This week is a Happy Hour edition which means there will be an added interview segment of the featured guest in the middle of the show. This week Jeff Sipe will be hosting. He is bringing his friends and new bandmates along; Rebekah Todd (vocals/guitar), Isaac Hadden (guitar/vocals), Jeff Sipe (drums/percussion), Quinn Sternberg (bass). This new project is now under the name "New Dawn Starkestra." They are a band of friends who play as if it's their last gig. They bring joy and journey with each performance. Playing mostly original songs with a few select covers, they bring life and urgency to the stage. The music is honest and deep felt. Members include, Rebekah Todd (vocals/guitar), Isaac Hadden (guitar/vocals), Jeff Sipe (drums/percussion), Quinn Sternberg (bass).
