About this Event

P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Jeff Sebo to celebrate the publication of his newest book, : a challenge "with engaging examples and plausible arguments" (Peter Singer, author of Animal Liberation) to include all potentially significant beings in our moral community, with transformative implications for our lives and societies. Along with a discussion and audience Q&A, Jeff will sign copies of .

  • This is a ticketed in-store event with limited amphitheater-style seating. Doors open at 6:30pm.
  • Cost of a $5 general admission ticket can be applied towards your purchase of the featured event book or any product in our café the night of an event.
  • Cost of a book bundle ticket reflects the total cost of the feature event book (MSRP plus tax). Each book bundle ticket guarantees ticket holders one (1) copy of the feature event book.
  • We encourage all guests to wear masks.
  • The talk will be followed by a book signing. Books signed at P&T Knitwear events must be purchased from P&T Knitwear. If you would like a signed copy and cannot attend the event, we're happy to take your pre-order. We ship most places!


ABOUT THE AUTHOR
is associate professor of environmental studies; affiliated professor of bioethics, medical ethics, philosophy, and law; director of the Center for Environmental and Animal Protection; director of the Center for Mind, Ethics, and Policy; and codirector of the Wild Animal Welfare Program at New York University. He lives in Manhattan.
