About this Event
Feeling lost? Listless? Unsure of what to do with your life? “Jeff Gets A Job” is a new slice-of-life film about our titular character, Jeff, trying to find a purpose in life. He feels unsure what to do with his life as friends slowly move forward with theirs. Sure, he is directionless but he is trying in earnest to find a direction to go to move on with his life.
Filmed in Burbank and the surrounding cities, the movie highlights the city like never captured on film before. Capturing the places that still exist and don’t exist like Pickwick Bowling before it was demolished, or Highland Park Theatre before it closed. See the city of Burbank and its surrounding cities like never seen before!
The screening will also feature Anna and Isaak Kimmel’s short: “So Long, World” and a proof-of-concept trailer “The Stranger.”
Come join us at the world premiere! There will be a Q&A from Emmanuel Duga, the director and writer; Jeffrey Roth, the lead actor; and Isaak Kimmel, the Director of Photography.
