A few years ago I bought a 42" Bonanza peach from big box "C".Strong graft, about 5' now. Produced fruit after one year in ground. Its time to prune. I understand the open vase theory, but don't want to over prune and lose fruit production. I'm in Sun City, tree has southern exposure, close to house, protected from N/NE winter weather. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
