Celebrating Educators, Changing Futures
To mark World Teachers' Day, Inspiration on Tap is shining a light on the power of evidence and mindset in transforming education.
Carly Sopronick will share how using research, evidence-based practices enhances whole-school improvement, strengthens coaching cultures, and improves student outcomes. Drawing from real-world examples, her presentation will show how embedding proven practices leads to lasting positive change.
Dr Grace Jefferson will challenge the myth that only some of us are ‘good at maths’. Through stories, everyday examples and insights from education, she’ll demonstrate how confidence, creativity and resilience are at the heart of mathematical thinking, and how we’re all maths people.
This instalment of Inspiration on Tap will also highlight the diverse pathways available for aspiring educators, career changers and lifelong learners to make a meaningful impact through study at JCU.
Refreshments will be available on the night, and you’re welcome to chat with JCU academics and staff to learn more about study opportunities at JCU.
