About this Event
Join artist Jazzmen Lee-Johnson for an an informal, conversational walk through her shared studio with WARP Collective in Atlantic Mills. We will explore the ways she challenges historical narratives through her process of sampling and remixing in the media of printmaking, drawing, music, and more. Through a selection of finished work as well as work in process, we’ll take a hands-on and up-close look. Learn more about Jazzmen Lee-Johnson here. Following the studio visit, we will go on a walking tour of Atlantic Mills with Michael Umbricht, Founder of the Retro Computing Society of Rhode Island, which works to preserve historic computers. Atlantic Mills was listed on PPS’s Most Endangered Places List in 2024.
