About Iris Jenster……
Meet Iris Jenster, a unique talent in the jazz world. Born and raised in California and coming to the Netherlands at the age of twelve, she brings an incomparable combination of influences from both worlds.
It is no surprise that music plays a major role in Iris' life. With both parents coming from the music world, she grew up with a deep-rooted passion for musicality. This can be heard in her lyrical experience and the smooth timing with which she performs her music.
Iris is currently studying at the conservatory in Utrecht. She knows how to enchant her audience like no other with her smooth voice and her musical interpretation.
In addition to her studies and performances, Iris also has a leading role in the weekly sessions in cafe Miles in Amersfoort. With her energetic appearance and her ability to play together with other musicians, she knows how to create a great atmosphere that the audience will not soon forget.
