<h4>BCDI-Detroit: Jazzed Up for Literacy</h4>
This fundraising event will showcase the importance of BCDI-Detroit's eight essentials within Detroit. Guests will have the chance to interact with representatives from BCDI-Detroit, including educators, volunteers, and community leaders, who will share inspiring stories and insights into the organization's work. Attendees can learn about the various literacy programs and outreach efforts BCDI-Detroit provides to support the development of black children within the city's metropolitan area.
The evening will feature a live performance by pianist and Detroit native Marvin Thompson Jr., along with his ensemble of talented musicians.
