Her innate sense of musicality, gleaned from her earlier years of saxophone playing and study of the jazz idiom and her acting experience in theatre and film, inform a voice that has individuality, originality and flair.
Esther’s debut album “Just in Time” was produced by multi award winning singer Ian Shaw and launched at London’s 606 Club in 2005.
Since then, she has carved out a prestigious career as a jazz singer performing extensively in major venues in and around London across the country and in Europe, accompanied by some of the UK’s leading jazz musicians.

Alongside Esther will be two of our leading jazz musicians, Wendy Kirkland and Pat Sprakes
UK-born and bred Wendy Kirkland is a world-class jazz pianist and vocalist whose debut album 'Piano Divas' made such an impact when it was released in March 2017 that it was immediately snapped up for distribution by Discovery Records and made the Album of the Week slot twice in one year on The Jazz UK radio, shortly followed by overwhelming critical acclaim from the national mainstream and jazz press. More airplay of the album followed on BBC Radio 2 and 3, Jazz FM and BBC Radio Scotland and Ulster.
Since then, she has released two albums, "The Music's On Me" (2019) and "Latin Lowdown" (2021) which showcase her very wide range of abilities to work with a broad palette of styles from swing, jazz and bossa nova to funk, Afro Cuban montunoes and beyond.
Pat Sprakes is an established guitarist on the UK national jazz scene. He cut his teeth working with Tony Kofi (BBC Jazz Awards 2008 – Best Instrumentalist) in the 1990s. He was selected by Darius Brubeck to perform as part of his quartet based on a live performance. He performed for US superstar guitarist Robben Ford around the same time. Since then, Pat has been working with artists such as Wendy Kirkland, Alan Barnes, Jim Mullen, Karen Sharp, Nigel Price and has performed at clubs and festivals throughout the UK such as Brecon, Cheltenham, Edinburgh, Pershore, Marsden, and many more.
