Khabu Young, guitarist and composer, currently resides in Boulder CO. He lived and performed extensively in New York City for 20 years as an active musician and teaching artist. He has over 30 recording credits. He has toured the US, Canada, Europe, and India with renowned musicians such as Art Lande and Paul McCandless. Khabu’s music ranges broadly from classic jazz to funk, Latin to avant garde and is always of the highest order.Khabu and Friends will feature an evening of a modern exploration of jazz in its many forms with some of America’s finest jazz musicians: Hugh Ragin-trumpet, Vince Wiggins-flute, Gabe Gravagno-drums, Khabu Young-guitar & bass
