About this Event
Co-founded and produced by world-renowned trumpeter Bijon Watson and critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter Niles Thomas (up for a 2022 Grammy® Nomination for their album "It's A Crossover Thang"), the Jazz Republic Music Festival was created as an exciting new jazz music festival in Las Vegas.
The Jazz Republic has been bringing jazz to the forefront of the mainstream market with their Jazz Republic Concert Series at The Smith Center since 2017, as well as their radio show on KUNV 91.5FM Jazz & More called "B-SIDE with The Jazz Republic Radio Show"– that place where jazz crosses over into multi-genres and has no borders.
To this end, The Jazz Republic Performing Arts Foundation presents a unique blend of world-renowned artists, featuring performances from iconic GRAMMY® Award-Winning artists, GRAMMY® Nominees, Top Billboard Chart artists, All-Star Ensembles, to emerging artists around the world.
As a non-profit, The Jazz Republic Performing Arts Foundation presents the Jazz Republic Music Festival, devoted to education, entertaining, and expanding the global community for original jazz music and the arts.
