It's taken a while due to nasty weather, but we're finally ready for another season of Jazz on the Porch at Talon Winery. We open our 16th season with our dear friends who have played for us many times, Blue Groove Jazz. Blue Groove is comprised of Sam Carr leading on saxophone, Mark Gardner tickling the ivories on keyboard, Eben Hensen keeping the beat on drums and Peter McCaffrey strumming the bass.
Bring your chairs, blankets, food, family and friends, get a bottle or two of wine from our friends and Talon and prepare for a great afternoon of Jazz performed by Blue Groove Jazz. This year we have new presenting sponsors, anonymous donors/friends of the Jazz Arts Foundation. We greatly appreciate them for being our sponsors this season. And a huge thanks again to Talon for providing their beautiful venue. Hope you can make it out for our first show of 2024.
We will also continue our wine fundraiser. Donate to our Jazz on the Porch fund and we will give you a bottle of wine. Details will be at our tent on Sunday the 30th. Thanks everyone.
