This February, Conservatorium Maastricht welcomes renowned jazz pianist and educator Hubert Nuss for a special masterclass with the Jazz Department. Known for his refined touch, rich tone colors, and expansive harmonic language, Nuss brings decades of experience as both a performer and professor at the conservatories of Cologne, Stuttgart, and Berlin.🕥 10:30–12:00 – Plenary Session (everyone welcome)

Hubert Nuss has performed with jazz legends such as Clark Terry, Johnny Griffin, Art Farmer, Toots Thielemans, and Bob Brookmeyer, and received the WDR Jazz Prize for Improvisation in 2008. His award-winning trio recordings for the PIRouet label have been widely praised for their depth, individuality, and harmonic imagination.
