Anthony Bolden Bio:
Anthony Bolden is a talented upcoming saxophonist from Salem, OR. He’s a former member of the Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Lab Band out of the University of North Texas, and has performed with the likes of Chris Potter, Miguel Zenon, and Allison Miller. Anthony is currently playing and living in New York City, where he’s also a graduate student at NYU, studying with saxophonist Tivon Pennicott and guitarist Adam Rogers.
Andrew Wilcox Bio:
Andrew is one of Hartford’s rising young musicians. Originally from Boylston, MA, Andrew has proven himself to be a talented young pianist, with a passion to learn, grow and play. After moving to Hartford at age 18, Andrew quickly sought out his elders and began building relationships with them. These relationships eventually turned into mentors and employers and Andrew was seen frequently alongside many of these musicians including Haneef Nelson, Nat Reeves, Yoron Israel, Abraham Burton, Dr. Emmett Goods, Ryan Abdul-Rahim Sands, Jonathan Barber, Wes Brown, Alvin Carter Jr. and Matt Dwonszyk.
Zwelakhe-Duma Bell le Pere Bio:
Bassist Zwelakhe-Duma Bell le Pere was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and grew up in New Haven, attending Educational Center for the Arts and studying bass with Jeff Fuller. He then attended New England Conservatory, graduating from there with a masters degree. Since then he has traveled the world playing jazz festivals and snagging teaching gigs. He tours regularly as the bassist in world renowned pianist Nduduzo Makhathuni's trio and has played with many top musicians such as Chad Leftkowitz-Brown and Benny Bennack III.
Avery Wyman Bio:
Avery is a drummer and percussionist from Connecticut and is a current student at the esteemed New York University Jazz Program under a full scholarship. He has played gigs and gotten the chance to sit in with many great musicians including Nat Reeves, George Coleman, Delfeayo Marsalis, Eric Alexander, Keith Brown, Ron McClure, Ricky Ford, Michael Rodriguez, Sullivan Fortner, Rodney Whitaker, Brandon Lee and many more. Avery has gotten the chance to learn and study under many musicians, including Joe McCarthy, Billy Drummond, Lenny White, Jonathan Barber, Ryan Sands, Joe Farnsworth, Kenny Washington and more. Avery plays gigs throughout the Connecticut area and the New York City area.
