Eric is a guitarist/composer who currently studies Jazz Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Eric has performed all around venues in Sydney, such as Butchers Brew and Lazybones Lounge, and larger festivals such as Smash and Manly Jazz Festival. Eric’s music is driven by a basis of firm melodic expression, his compositions and improvisation both providing constant surprises, yet never lose track of development. Accompanied by Dorby Xu (Drums) and Henry Hall (Double Bass), the trio communicates with each other spontaneously, creating water-like flow in all the songs, compassing emotions from joyfulness to melancholy and vulnerability. Tonight the trio will be presenting a catalogue of jazz standards, unexpected classics and originals.
