This program is near and dear to Wycliffe Gordon's heart.Louis Armstrong is one of his biggest musical influences, and this show features music that was regularly performed by him. The show includes many of the songs that Armstrong made famous, such as “When You're Smiling,” “Hello Dolly,” and “What A Wonderful World,” along with several of Wycliffe's originals, including “I Give You Love,” which expresses his musical sentiment. Other hits featured in the show include “Black and Blue,” “It Don’t Mean a Thing,” “Ow,” and “When the Saints Go Marchin’ In.” In this show, Wycliffe sings and plays several instruments, including trombone, soprano trombone, and trumpet.
