However, her rise to fame was cut short during the British Invasion, leading to a lifetime of challenges and perseverance.
Now, at 82 years old, Sloane reflects on her remarkable six-decade career while preparing for her final live recording at Birdland Jazz Club. Through rare footage and interviews, this award-winning documentary explores her life, legacy, and the resilience of an artist pursuing her passion against all odds.
