Billie Holiday, Anita O’Day, Lena Horne, Peggy Lee, Jo Stafford, Rosemary Clooney, Ella Fitzgerald, and others. They started as “canaries” – women singing with well-known Big Bands – before they went on to acclaimed soloist careers. Coming in March, after selling out at NYC’s Birdland Club, this revue is the music made famous by canaries once they spread their wings!
