A sophisticated ‘Jazz Cabaret’ celebrating the femme fatale in all her feisty glory as heroine & heartbreaker, the show combines songs and stories about dangerous women who pushed the boundaries of ‘acceptable’ female behaviour to the limit.
From Eve in the Garden of Eden to the Film Noir goddesses via Cleopatra and Mata Hari, the tales of these rule breakers have been handed down through history almost exclusively by the rule-makers - men. Sarah Moule retells these stories in song from a women’s 21st Century point of view, revealing why it is time to reassess the legacy of these trail blazing women.

This upbeat 90 minute show in two parts is structured around songs by the much lauded pianist Simon Wallace and the late great jazz lyricist Fran Landesman, whose lyrics are the last link with the Golden Age of American songwriting. The show also contains classic material by Landesman’s longtime friend and admirer, Stephen Sondheim and songs by Stoller and Cole Porter.
Numbers such as: I’ve Got You Under My Skin, (Cole Porter), I’m A Woman (Leiber & Stoller), Sooner Or Later, (Sondheim) & I Need A Little Sugar In My Bowl, (Bessie Smith) among others are superbly sung by Sarah Moule:

A word about our seating arrangements
We sell tickets as tables for two or four people and banquettes for six.
We also sell tickets for individual seats in rows beside the stage, not at a table. You can also buy individual tickets to add to tables, so you can to buy a table for two and make it up to three by buying an extra ticket, or buy a table for four and make it up to five by buying an extra ticket.
Chiswick Calendar Club Card holders are offered a £2 discount on tickets.
You can order meals, bar snacks and drinks in the Boston Room, before and during the performance. Doors open 7.00 pm. Performance starts 7.30 pm
