Join Heather Bambrick and friends as they provide seasonal music including “A Child is Born” by Thad Jones and many other jazz favourites. Heather will be a perfect addition to your December music calendar with bright music in a warm environment.
Heather Bambrick is a Juno-nominated vocalist who has collaborated with Phil Nimmons, Fred Hirsch, Gene DiNovi, Guido Basso, Rob McConnell, Peter Appleyard, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, and many others. Heather has released four solo recordings, all of which were nominated for ECMA Awards, including You’ll Never Know, which was also nominated for Vocal Jazz Recording of the Year at the 2017 Juno Awards. She’s been a featured guest on numerous projects and was awarded Canada’s National Jazz Award for Vocalist of the Year.
Heather has been a well-loved voice at JAZZ.FM91 for almost 20 years, hosting a variety of shows, including Sing, Sing, Sing, Sunday Afternoon Jazz, and Wake Up … with Heather Bambrick. She is a multiple nominee and three-time First Runner-Up for “Best Radio Personality” in NOW Magazine’s Best of Toronto Readers’ Poll. She is also a three-time nominee — and two-time winner — for “Broadcaster of the Year” at the National Jazz Awards and was named “Best On-Air Host”(for a music station in a major market) at the 2020 Broadcast Dialogue Canadian Radio Awards.
Heather is currently the host of Jazzology, Weekend B&B, and The Heather Bambrick Show.
The tickets are by donation, with a $25 suggested minimum per person.
