Jaybird Day is an annual event to honor our “old-timers”. Held at The Company of Fifers & Drummers headquarters and museum on the first Saturday in October, it is one of our most enjoyable events of the year.The day typically progresses as follows:
-Registration begins at 10:30 with coffee and refreshments available
-Lunch will be served at 12:30
-Around 1:00 p.m. we will pay tribute to this year's Honored Jaybirds
-After all the honoring is completed door prizes are awarded, there will be a 50/50 raffle, and finally a jam session and all around good time!
This is a great social occasion and an opportunity to thank our old-timers for their contribution to drum corps over the years.
This event is free to juniors and all over 60; there is a suggested $10.00 fee for each youngster attending.
