This gig has been scheduled to celebrate the release of the new Jay Clarkson & the Containers album "FALLING THROUGH" released on Zelle Records.The music starts at 8pm with Jay Clarkson & The Containers playing their new album, and songs from their recent 7'' single "CHILDREN OF THE RULE".
The HONEY ROBOTS (Waimate) will then follow.

A bona fide legend of NZ music, Jay Clarkson deserves our respect. Through her work across the years with the likes of They Were Expendable, The Expendables, and Breathing Cage, Jay has consistently delivered brilliance. The lineup for the release gig consists of Jay Clarkson (guitar and vocals), Alan Haig (keyboards) Nazir Noronha (drums) and Tenzin Mullin (bass).
Band bio: THE HONEY ROBOTS are an original alternative rock music duo. Melita Johnston plays electric guitar and vocals. Bruce Hannan plays bass and pushes buttons on the drum machine. They have been playing in bands together for over 20 years. The Honey Robots were formed when they moved south to Waimate from Nelson. For a 2 piece, the band sounds big and luscious.
