This is a fundraiser for Jaxon Thomas. A little boy who has had two open heart surgeries before he turned two. He unfortunately has had a complicated recovery post op including kidney failure, complete heart block, respiratory distress, strokes, and seizures. His strokes have also resulted in a cerebral palsy diagnosis. Since his last heart surgery, he has been able to finish recovery in the comfort of his own home and is making strides in therapies. Unfortunately, after his second heart surgery, the overall function of his heart has declined and is trending towards heart failure. He is being monitored closely by his team of specialists to prolong further intervention or heart transplant. His new pacemaker, pulmonary valve, and medications have helped tremendously in keeping his heart beat steady and oxygen levels strong. However, we are preparing for the ultimate and critical step of future interventions.
