Jax Book Fest is a big, bold celebration of authors, local authorship, and the written word—held annually at the Main Library in Downtown Jacksonville. This year, Jax Book Fest is being held over two Saturdays in September.The event will feature Mac Barnett and Shannon Messenger, 50+ local authors of kids and teen books, the River City Readers Bookmobile, and face painters and balloon artists.

The event and all programs are free to attend. All visitors will enter via the doors at 303 N. Laura St. All programs take place on the Conference Level.
