As part of his European Tour 2024, the Argentine musician, writer and composer Javier Pittorino will perform in a solo set of voice and electric guitar, playing songs from his three albums, as well as presenting new compositions. The show will be integrated into a performance that links theatrical scenes and literature of Witold Gombrowicz (Polish-Argentinean) writer, among others. His style is a theatrical alternative rock song characterized by lyrics oscillating between literature and psychoanalysis. Javier describes himself as a skipped reader strongly influenced by the work of the writer Witold Gombrowicz. It is relevant to mention that, in 2017, his song “Malaxación” was reviewed by Witolda magazine. In 2019, he composed “El Merodeador”' (The Prowler) as a special contribution to the II Congreso Internacional Witold Gombrowicz, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In his shows, in addition to singing, reciting, and improvising, he creates theatrical scenes that integrate literary works, abandoning the guitar to sound alone as he wanders among the spectators.
