High octane, blues rock, recording artist/actor, multi-instrumentalist, producer, Jason Damico is an emerging and driving force in the entertainment industry. Hailing from Raleigh, North Carolina this “rocking young turk” has already racked up many awards, winning 2 Carolina Music Awards Rock Male Artist of the Year and Youth Artist of the Year; 14x GRAMMY® Considered; Triangle Blues Society Solo Blues Challenge Winner competing in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis.
Damico regularly collaborates with some of the most notable musicians and artists in the industry, such as Kenny Aronoff (John Fogerty, John Mellencamp, Smashing Pumpkins), Eric Gales, P.J. Farley (Fozzy, Mr. BIG, Trixter), Tony Franklin (Jimmy Paige), Gary Hoey, and more.
Over the years Damico has had the privilege of sharing the stage or opening for world-renowned, musical greats in a multitude of genres. Some notable names include: Claudette King, Joe Louis Walker, Slam Allen, Mr. Sipp, Tony Holiday, Mike Mc Kee, Vito Luizzi, Brad Russell, Galea Galea, Buddy Guy, Joe Chambers, Monty Alexander, Trae Pierce, Big Daddy Wilson, Will McFarlane, Lucky Peterson, Jason Marsalis, Ray Codrington, Vincent Gardner, Kevin Mahogany, John V. Brown, Sonny Rock, Jason Adamo, John Arthur Greene, Mack Brock, and more. The most prodigious honor came when Jason Damico opened two pre-shows for the late great B.B. King at the Durham Performing Arts Center.
Damico tours both solo and with his band New Blue—rocking thousands of fans at hundreds of celebrated venues and festivals, some of which include: House of Blues (SC), Blues Cruise/Greenwood Blues Fest (SC), Sunrise Blues Fest (NC), Bull Durham Blues Festival (NC), Mazzstock (NY), Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts (NC), Bull Durham Blues Festival (NC), The Towne Crier (NY), The Falcon (NY), Arlene’s Grocery (NYC), The Orpheum (TN), Lincoln Theatre (NC), The Pour House (NC), The Blue Note Grill (NC), Earl’s Hideaway (FL), Midtown Live (NYC), Orange County Choppers (NY), Helsinki Hudson (NY), The Shrine (NYC), etc.
To date, Damico has garnered multiple song placements in major motion films and TV series; some notable selections include: "Torn In Two" & "That's All Right" in LAWS OF MAN (2025), "By Your Side," "Old Soul," & "She Calls Me An Angel," in Rosemary Street (2024-).
Aside from Damico’s music career, he works regularly as an actor in TV, film and theatre as well as commercial/industrial—experiencing much success. Graduating Summa Cum Laude and honored to have received the Outstanding Graduate Award, Jason Damico earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in leadership and management. He is also an active member of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society and Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society in recognition of high scholastic achievement. Most recently, he has been accepted into the Masters Program at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, but has deferred for the time being, due to recent career opportunities.
