BiographyJason Anderson is an award-winning indie/folk artist based in eastern Canada. New Hampshire born, New Brunswick based, he has collaborated with Mount Eerie, toured with Joyce Manor, played guitar in Strand of Oaks, and fronted power-pop cult faves Wolf Colonel.
Jason was a Fredericton Artist in Residence in 2021. In 2022 he won the Arnold LeBlanc Songwriting Award and has been nominated for multiple MusicNB Awards. He has performed at Harvest Fest and Shivering Songs in Fredericton, Paddlefest in St Andrews, and Trail Folk Fest in Minto.
Blending elements of folk, rock, and indie, characterized by raw, emotive lyrics and melodic compositions, Anderson’s style is intimate and personal, drawing listeners in with his storytelling and relatable themes.
Jason’s performances are often praised for their energy and sincerity, making his live shows memorable and engaging. Overall, his ability to convey genuine emotion and craft meaningful songs makes him a notable figure in the singer/songwriter genre.
