Curious to learn the traditional techniques of Japanese woodblock printing?Join tutor Campbell Sandilands, Dovecot exhibitions team member, who was a 7-year resident in Japan, studying its art and culture and will guide you through this workshop.
This 2-day workshop gives you the opportunity to learn all the basics of designing and carving a block, then printing it in various colours, while at the same time being absorbed in stories of the historical and cultural context of full-colour woodblock prints in Japan.
