***NOTE - This is a casual tasting event, cafeteria style (not a cooking class)
CARMEL'S MILK BAR* w/ BINCHO TANGO'S SMOKEHOUSE MENU:
- Tejanese togarashi teriyaki brisket - 9 hr smoked brisket over cherrywood, carrots & daikon, Schwartz’ mustard, yuzu kosho mayo + half sour pickle on a mini brioche sesame bun, yum
- Ruby donburi—zesty rice topped w/ ahi tuna, slivered chioga beets & pomegranate
- Roasted Japanese eggplant w/ sake & harissa
- Demitasse of soba, baby artichoke hearts in walnut miso, tomatoes, rakkyo, gr olive + shiso
- Creamy toasty skewered potato, tororo & gobo kugel w/ wasabi slaw
- DIY cheese blintz** milk bar bites w/ persimmons & DIY toppings

*JEWISH-JAPANESE MILK BAR INSPIRATION is a melding of common Polish-Jewish comfort food cafeterias, and Japanese dessert kiosks, both called milk bars.
