<< About Yasukazu Kano >>
Born in Tokyo in 1963, Kano began his musical journey with drums at thirteen. His career spans decades, including time with the renowned taiko performing arts group Kodo, before he transitioned to a solo career in 1997.
Residing on Sado Island, Kano developed a distinct approach to playing the shinobué.
In addition to performing, he has produced numerous CDs, instructional DVDs, and books, and leads workshops worldwide.
