Beat the January blues with a pottery workshop! Beginners welcome! What's a wall pocket? It is a wall hung pottery decoration that you can put dried flowers in or even a small plant. In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn how to roll out a slab of clay, cut out shapes and form into your pocket. You can choose one of several shapes or make up one of your own if you like. Techniques for joining clay and decorating your pocket will be covered. All clay and use of tools will be included. You can colour your piece with underglazes which will then be clear glazed or choose a glaze for your piece. Pre-registration is required. Price is $52.00 (including HST) for a three hour class and is limited to 12 students. Please PM me for etransfer address.
