Sunday Night Showdown’s are biweekly tournaments for your favorite Magic: The Gathering formats. These tournaments will start by rotating between three formats: Standard, Modern, and Oathbreaker. The Sunday Night Showdown hosted on January 5th will be Oathbreaker. There will be two times where players can participate including 2pm and 5pm. A minimum of four players will be needed for either time. Message us to sign up and we will keep you informed on the participation of each time.
Oathbreaker is a format where you build a deck around your favorite planeswalker and utilize a signature spell. Review the format rules and banned & restricted list on Magic: The Gathering’s website. (https://magic.wizards.com/en/formats/oathbreaker). The Branson Dragon Game store is allowing up to 10 proxies for this event. There will be select decks available to be rented for $5.
Entry Cost: $5
Prizes: prizes listed below will be awarded based upon participation at 2pm or 5pm. If we have more than 4 players at each the 5pm group will receive packs based upon participation.
First Place: Store Championship Hollow One
Second Place: Store Championship Reality Smasher
Third Place: Store Championship Mortify and Chromatic Sphere and Buy-a-box Expel the Interlopers
